Selected Achievements
  • Was an integral part in creatively building the Ralph Lauren Empire
  • Worked with Halston, launched the first of his many iconic women's collections
  • Sketched for Halston several of the stylish hats created for Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, including the now-famous pillbox hat
  • Worked with Vanity Fair, Bergdorf Goodman, and the New York Times creating high-end fashion illustration advertisements
  • Collaborated with Ralph Lauren on all celebrity styles, including the Gwyneth Paltrow pink dress which was the 6th most popular dress in the history of The Oscar Awards
  • Designed Emmy Rossum's white gown for the 2005 Golden Globes, which was voted the number one dress for that year

  • Worked with Ralph Lauren in the conceptualization of iconic design ideas used throughout his fashion empire
  • Provided Lauren with concept sketches, further enhancing them upon approval and overseeing the construction of first samples

  • Shared in fabric and color selection and oversees fittings

  • Full Design responsibility for a manufacture of moderately priced children's sportswear.
  • Expanded an existing infants thru 4-6 to a complete moderately priced children's wear line resulting in acceptance by department stores and substantially increased volume.
  • Broadened the line further by designing private label products for mass merchandisers (Sears, JC Penney, etc.)
  • Selected piece goods and trim
  • Designed a complete line for a upstairs importer of children's and women's French knits (Sun & Sand)
  • Enhanced a basic line with an upgraded fashion look resulting in a dramatic increase in volume market penetration and recognition as a fashion house
  • Participated in merchandising of the line
  • Created all sales presentation material.
